This Halloween, watch one of our special screenings in the nostalgic setting of the Ulster Transport Museum, surrounded by Northern Ireland’s rich transport heritage. We've joined with Strand Cinema to put on three special screenings for you this Halloween - Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, Brief Encounter and Strangers On A Train. Your ticket includes access to the Rail Gallery at the ticket times advertised and a treat (a magical treat for Harry Potter, or hot drinks and buns for our Melodramas).

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (PG)

Step into the wizarding world this Halloween weekend with a screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in the unique setting of the Ulster Transport Museum! Relive the magic of Harry’s first year at Hogwarts, filled with spells, secrets and unforgettable adventures. Your ticket will also include a magical treat upon entry. Dressing up encouraged. Bring your cloaks, wands and sense of wonder and let the magic begin! Ticket includes entry to the Railway Gallery one hour before the film starts. Tickets are £15 per person and include a magical treat.

Melodrama: Brief Encounter (PG)

Visit a world of steam, memory and forbidden passion as we bring David Lean’s timeless classic Brief Encounter to life in the atmospheric train hangar of the Ulster Transport Museum. This immersive matinee experience will begin with tea, buns and vintage touches to set the scene and atmosphere of the 1940s. Screenings of archival film and photographs from Belfast’s own cinema and railway history will provide a local context. A host will introduce the film and cover its importance in our Melodrama Season. Tickets £12, includes hot drink & buns.
